Dr. Cirillo-Hyland completed her undergraduate degree at Harvard College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a John Harvard Scholar for four years. She attended The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where she graduated top of her class. She was an Alpha Omega Alpha Scholar and additionally received numerous academic awards for her scholastic achievements. Dr. Cirillo-Hyland completed her medical internship at The Brigham & Women’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School.

She returned to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for her Dermatology residency. She has been on staff at The Bryn Mawr Hospital since 1993, and she is currently a managing partner of Bryn Mawr Skin & Cancer Institute.

Since 1994, Dr. Cirillo-Hyland has been a pioneer and leader in cosmetic dermatology. She formed Cirillo Cosmetic Dermatology Spa to offer her cosmetic clients a credentialed alternative to the many franchise med-spas opening without a core dermatologist. Dr. Cirillo-Hyland is the owner and medical director of Cirillo Cosmetic Dermatology Spa. It is co-located with Bryn Mawr Skin & Cancer Institute. Together they form the largest, most comprehensive, and most credentialed skin care center in the area.

Dr. Cirillo-Hyland has received national recognition for her clinical work. She continues to publish in leading Dermatology journals. Often sought out by the media as an expert and luminary, Dr. Cirillo-Hyland has appeared in many print and television spots including CBS, NBC, CN8, CNN, and has been recognized by her peers as a “Top Doc”. In 2006, she was selected to participate in the FDA clinical trials for the Accent® radiofrequency technology. Dr. Cirillo-Hyland was also selected by Allergan to complete the Juvéderm® JET clinical trials. Dr. Cirillo-Hyland is a luminary for Alma Lasers, lecturing nationally.

She provides the Dermatology training for The Bryn Mawr Hospital’s Family Practice program. Special interests include Cosmetic, Pediatric, and Women’s Dermatology, and Skin Cancer Surgery.
